Baby (and Baby) News (as of 3/5/10)

The two parents and three grandparents are in Vicksburg, busy preparing for the arrival of the twins.

Ann has moved from the downstairs "bed rest zone" back to her normal bedroom, and John's parents have arrived to help with moving and baby prep work.  Ann's mom continues to be a support and blessing to the Hoemann family, too.

Today they all enjoyed a meal out and a little baby shopping.  They found some good deals on crib sheets and a few other details.

All of these details are very minor... but there is no big news on the labor front to report!  Ann continues to experience the discomfort of carrying full term twins, including back pain, swelling of the feet, and contractions.  However, at their doctor appointment on Thursday, the twins were very cozy inside and performed excellently on the non-stress test.  They are safe and healthy.  Some of the nurses predicted that there would be a delivery this weekend, but they weren't born today!

They are still without internet access in the home, but John is trying to remedy that problem by fixing their old college computers.  Ann looks forward to posting photos on facebook, as well as more photos on this website! With all the gifts they've received, they have a lot to show off.  And of course, the two most precious gifts will need to be photographed and shared with friends and family, too!!

Ann and John still covet your prayers for a safe delivery and the transition into parenthood.  Thank you for all the ways you have supported them during this pregnancy!
